If you have dry skin, you should know the importance of keeping your skin hydrated. With the change in weather, you want to keep your skin healthy and looking its best! Today I have a DIY recipe for a yogurt and honey hydrating face mask, especially good for dry skin, that will benefit any skin type! My years of experience as a licensed esthetician has made me passionate about helping educate others on how to improve their skin and overall lifestyle. This simple two ingredient mask can be made by anyone and you will see the improvement in your skin!

What You’ll Need:

  • Plain Yogurt- Make sure to use plain unsweetened¬†yogurt. Sweetened and flavored yogurts can cause skin irritation.
  • Raw Honey

Tip: Yogurt contains lactic acid to gently exfoliate and hydrate the skin. It also will naturally brighten your complexion!  

Plain yogurt is full of calcium, Vitamin D, protein, and probiotics, which makes it a healthy food that is great for your health. But it also is just as amazing for your skin! Take two teaspoons of yogurt and place it in a container. Mix in one teaspoon of honey. Make sure to mix it well. Apply the mask gently to the face and neck in circular motions to ensure that it will penetrate into your pores. Leave the mixture on for about 8-10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Your skin should feel soft, look hydrated, and brighter! Apply your moisturizer and enjoy your skin!

Tip: Honey is rich in antioxidants and has antimicrobial properties. It will also naturally hydrate the skin!
